What counts as a screen?
Each individual subject screened counts as one screen, regardless of how many modules run (sanctions, PEP, criminal). Re-screens also count. Cached results served from our deduplication system do not count.
Do unused screens roll over?
No — screen allowances reset at the start of each billing month. Upgrading your plan immediately increases your limit for the current month.
What happens if I hit my screen limit?
Screens will return a 429 limit reached error. You can upgrade your plan at any time to continue screening immediately. We don't cut off access mid-screen.
Can I add more analyst seats?
Analyst seats are fixed per plan. To add more analysts you'll need to upgrade to the next tier. Enterprise plans include unlimited seats.
What lists are covered?
OFAC SDN, OFAC Consolidated, EU Consolidated, UK HMT, UN Security Council, global PEP database (via OpenSanctions), Interpol Red Notices, and FBI Most Wanted. Lists are updated continuously.
Is Urim suitable for regulatory compliance?
Urim produces a tamper-evident audit log of every screen and every analyst decision, with SHA-256 hash verification. It is designed to support AML/KYC compliance workflows. Always consult your legal counsel on specific regulatory requirements.
Can I use the API directly?
Yes. Every plan comes with API access. Each analyst gets their own API key. The REST API supports the same screening, disposition, and audit functionality as the dashboard. Full API docs at /docs.
How is my data handled?
Each tenant's audit data is stored in an isolated database. Screen results and audit logs are never shared across tenants. We do not use your screening data to train models.
